Minted Founder & Director Tess Beagley’s freshly renovated and extended family home in Geraldton, WA, where she lives with her husband and three kids. Tess shares a few childhood experiences and explains why this project came to be affectionately known as 'Magic Beach House'.
As the family home of Minted Elevated Living’s founder, The Magic Beach House is a deeply personal expression of what lies at the heart of our brand. More than a renovation, it is a reflection of a family’s story, values and vision for living well. It embodies our belief that truly elevated living is a deeply personal expression of the people who call a space home. This philosophy guides every Minted project: to look beyond the expected, uncover what matters most, and create spaces that inspire a more meaningful way of living.
Purchased in December 2019, the property offered the foundations for something special. Set on a generous corner block in a much-loved regional coastal community, with shady pines, open lawn and magical ocean views, it presented an opportunity to create a home shaped around family, place and connection.
Following an extensive renovation, completed in 2024, The Magic Beach House has become a treasured family sanctuary, designed for the beautiful, often chaotic rhythm of coastal living.
Here, elevated living is found in the details that make everyday life feel effortless. Thoughtful functionality, seamless indoor-outdoor living and spaces designed for both retreat and gathering allow the home to move naturally between busy family routines, spontaneous entertaining and quiet moments together.
More than a family home, it is a meeting place for friends, a hub for neighbourhood children and a backdrop for the rituals that define life by the coast. From sunset drinks on the deck to summer days at the beach, the home embraces a lifestyle grounded in community, freedom and the natural beauty of its surroundings.
